Dear Brethren,
Christian greetings to you all in Jesus’ name. It is our prayer as a family that this report finds you all in good health. The month of June was very cold in the mornings as well as in the evenings. We witnessed quite a number of people who suffered from strong coughing as well as flu. Above all, we thank God for His special guidance and protection.
During the first week of June, Brother Zumbika, Ndikudze, Nyatsine, and I teamed together for door-to-door knocking at Tokoyo Village. We knocked at several homes and shared the gospel with many young and old people. Many promised to come and attend our church services. A few managed to come, and a young lady promised to be baptized this Sunday.
During the second week of June, I visited Chitora Primary School for preaching during school assemblies. The feeding program work at Chitora is only possible because of brethren like you. Thank you for building this program at Chitora. Many students are so happy now. They get food three days per week, and on the other two days we provide them with an African drink called Maheu in Shona. Your support will continue helping all the children, keeping them fit and strong both in class and outside.

Every two Saturdays in a month, Brother Mukuze and I are committed to sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ with the incarcerated men at Little Krall Prison in Nyazura. Through Bible teaching, personal mentorship, and preaching, we seek to restore lives, bring new hope, and build a community of faith behind prison walls.
Every Thursday, my wife meets with some ladies at church for their fellowship. This ministry provides emotional support, practical assistance, and spiritual guidance to those facing challenges, illness, grief, or other life transitions.
From the 25th to the 28th of June 2026, all the ladies from churches of Christ in Makoni District converged at Resthaven Church of Christ for their annual lectureship. The attendance was over 300. The lectureship went very well.

The above picture shows the ladies from our congregation who attended the lectureship. My wife, Brenda, is in a yellow dress with our son Prosper, sharing some jokes with the ladies at Mutugagore soon after Sunday service.
It is our prayer that we need to resume our building project. Bricks were so hard to get since April, but this time many people are now busy molding the bricks. We look forward to constructing a baptism tank and building another room at the church site to make them two. The toilets at the church also need to be well painted.
We continue appealing for your prayers, brethren. Our church members are seriously in great hunger. We never received enough rain, especially here in the villages. People harvested nothing. To get into another harvesting time is almost close to 10 months.
I preached twice during the month of June and taught Bible class twice. Brother Zumbika preached one Sunday, while Brother Nyatsine taught Bible class one Sunday. Our average attendance for the month of June was 28, while our contribution averaged $10 every Sunday.
Pray for my family as well as our mission work. Pray for our leaders as a nation and for all the kinds of suffering we are going through. Above all, thank you, brethren, for the financial support which you are giving us. Indeed, without your support, our mission work could be so difficult. May the Lord continue to shower more blessings upon your families. We love you all and are always praying for you.
In Christ,
Nhamo and Brenda Mumba
