I hope this report finds you all in good health. The month of June was very cold with many people complaining about the strong flu similar to COVID. But we thank God for his guidance and protection.
On the first week of June 2025, brothers Nyarukowa, Zumbika, Ndikudzei and I conducted an evangelism outreach in Tokoyo village, focusing on door to door knocking on various families’ houses. Home visits or door to door knocking is a powerful expression of love and community, rooted in a biblical principles. Our visit in Tokoyo village opened doors for heartfelt conversations, prayers and the sharing of the gospel. We also managed to distribute more English Bible tracts.
On the 2nd week of June 2025, brother William and I visited Nyazura farm prison twice. We preached and taught Bible lessons centered on salvation and love. Many of these inmates seems to be very much interested in studying the word of God. Many of these prisoners are in desperate need of some Bibles to help them in their Bible study. Pray that the Lord may continue opening their hearts to the gospel.
On the 22nd of June, 2025 Nyazura Church of Christ fellowshipped with our congregation at Folkington Primary School in Nyazura. The congregation witnessed the addition of a new member, fulfilling Acts 2:47
“And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
The church also welcomed a backslider reflecting the spirit of reconciliation from Gal 6:1
On behalf of Mutungagore Church of Christ, we would like to express our condolence to the Mafusire family, the church and the community for such a great loss. Brother Caleb Mafusire was one of my classmates at Mutare School of Preaching from 2001 to 2003. He died in a car accident with other four passengers who were also in his car on the 4th of June, 2025. He will be missed by all.
On the 3rd week of June, 2025 I was invited to preach at Mutungagore Primary School mid-term event. The event drew students, teachers and parents who were present on that day. My words were meant to encourage students to reflect on their achievements and set goals for their future. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as students shared their experiences from the term. I also emphasized the significance of education not only in academic growth but in spiritual development.
May you please kindly join us in prayer as my family and I are planning to buy a tombstone for my late wife. During the burial of one of the preachers at the same graveyard where Esther was laid to rest, we discovered that some graves are hard to be identified. When brother Simba asked me where we buried my wife it took us almost an hour to identify. He was there during the burial of brother Nyarambi. It was our wish if funds permit that by end of August, 2025 we should put a tombstone. So do pray for me and my family.
I preached twice during the month of June and taught adults Bible class for one Sunday. Brother Zumbika preached once whilst brother Ndikudzei taught Bible class for two Sundays. Our average church attendance for the month of June was 25 to 29. Our giving averaged $15 dollars per week after converting it from Zimbabwean dollars.
Pray for our mission work as well as my family. Pray for all our church members as life continues to become so difficult due to our leaders who does not have people at heart. The economy is so too bad.
Above all I just want to thank you brethren for your financial support and prayers. You are also in our prayers. We pray for those who are not feeling well in your congregation for speedy recovery.
We love you all.
In His Arms.
