Dear Brethren,
Greetings to you all from Zimbabwe. It is our hope and trust that this report finds you all in good health.
I have attached this report with some pictures taken during our Manicaland Gospel Meeting in Muzokomba District. In the first picture on the right side, it is my wife Brenda, myself, Simba’s son, Simba’s wife, Simba, and their two other children, and then brother Rishon Gushure. In the second picture, it is me preaching during the Gospel meeting.

During the first three days of the first week of April 2026, brother Ndikudze, brother Nyarukowa, and myself visited Mbiriri village community for door-to-door knocking. We shared the gospel and engaged in several Bible lessons, and taught the people whom we met in their homes. In every home that we entered, the welcome was so good. Some of these people invited their neighbours to come and listen to the Bible lessons which we were presenting. We also managed to distribute some Bible tracts with different Bible lessons.
On the second week of April 2026, brother William Mukuze and I visited Littlekraal Farm Prison in Nyazura twice. On the second visit, it was a family fun day. The event drew inmates, staff, and family members who came to see their relatives. Bro Mukuze delivered a powerful sermon which was centred on hope, perseverance, as well as the importance of salvation. On that day the atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as we saw inmates chatting with their beloved ones.
During the third week of April 2026, my wife Brenda and I made several follow-ups. Some were previous contacts given to us by some church members—individuals who showed interest.
On the fourth week of April 2026, we travelled to Muzokomba for a gospel meeting. The gospel meeting ran from April 24 to April 27, 2026. We travelled almost 400 km there and back. The attendance was 500, whilst the Sunday collection was $240. I was one of the guest speakers during that gospel meeting. It was also a wonderful time meeting with Simba and his family, as well as brother Rishon Gushure.
In my report for March 2026, I mentioned the drought situation in our nation. We are indeed facing acute hunger. This famine has already been confirmed in almost all parts of the country. When hunger hits the nation, children are often the first to suffer. Pray for our church members so that they will remain faithful during this difficult period.
Schools in Zimbabwe will be opening in a week’s time. Pray that many of the children will not be much affected by hunger, especially those in the rural areas like Chitora Primary School. Many of these kids walk long distances in order to reach school. Last year we witnessed several kids who fainted during their school lessons as a result of hunger. Some just go to school with an empty stomach.
I preached twice during the month of April and taught adult Bible class one Sunday. Brother Zumbika preached twice, while brother Nyarukowa taught Bible class for three Sundays. Our average church attendance for the month of April 2026 was 33, while our average contribution for every Sunday was $8.
Pray for me and my family, as well as our mission work in Mutungagore community village. We continue calling for your prayers and support as we carry on with our mission work in Mutungagore, sharing hope and encouraging repentance, and bringing the message of salvation to all the people in the village and beyond. Above all, we continue giving thanks to you all, brethren, for your unwavering financial support. May the good Lord continue to shower more blessings upon you and your families. We love you all.
In Christ,
Nhamo and Brenda Mumba
