Dear Brethren.

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country [Proverbs 25:25] It is our hope and prayer that this report finds you all in good health.

EVANGELISM WORK.

On the first of April 2025, we teamed for door to door knocking in Mutimba village. We went out as a team of three men, me, brother Nyarukowa, and brother Ndikudzei. For the past five days we reached over 40 families, where we delivered several Bible lessons. We distributed several Bible tracts which I believe will be an effective tool to our prospects.

BIBLE STUDIES.

On the 2nd week of April 2025, we met every Saturday in the afternoon for some Bible studies with our members as well as some other people in the community whom we invited. The Bible studies made a big impression, and all the participants were very interested to learn the word of God.

PRISON MINISTRY.

During the third week of April, brother Mukuze and I visited Nyazura farm prison for two days.  We taught Bible lessons and preached two sermons. Later, we also had time to talk to several prisoners sharing some jokes and laughing together. Some of these prisoners are in great need of Bibles. Pray that God will continue opening more hearts as we continue visiting and sharing the gospel to them.

MANICALAND GOSPEL MEETING.

It was so wonderful as we met at Tsindi Secondary school on the 25th to 27th April 2025 for Manicaland gospel meeting. The attendance was quite very good, and all the invited guest speakers did a splendid job. We were quite very blessed. The theme of the gospel was called 'Sin messes everything'. It was also a great moment when my family and Simba’s family met. We also appreciate Simba and his team for working so hard to make the gospel meeting becoming so successful.

BUILDING FUND PROJECT.

We are so happy to report that we have managed to raise our $500.00 towards the building. The church raised $150.00 then our two youths who lives and working in South Africa gave us $350.00. We thank God for that. There is a need for a baptism tank which I think is going to be our priority since we struggle to find a nearby river whenever we need to do baptism.

FAMILY NEWS.

30th of April 2025 marked two years after Esther has gone to glory.  Its quite very difficult sometimes if one has gone to glory and leaves the other one with small children that need to be looked after. I also thank God for giving me strength as I continue rearing my two boys who are still at school.
On the 13th of May 2025 the boys will be going back to school after a one-month holiday. Pray that God will be able to provide the school fees for them.  At times as a parent when schools are about to open you feel so much stressed. But we just trust that everything is going to be fine.
On the 21st of April 2025 we went to bury one of our fellow preachers at Silverbow cemetery, the same cemetery where Esther was also buried. After the burial Simba asked me to identify the grave where we buried Esther, we struggled but at last we saw it. Funds permitting, I was thinking of buying a tombstone and putting it there for easy identification.  So, pray for me and my family.

CHURCH ATTENDANCE/PREACHING AND GIVING.

I preached two Sundays and taught adults Bible class for one Sunday whilst brother Nyarukowa preached one Sunday. Then brother Zumbika preached one Sunday and taught adult Bible class for two Sundays. Then the fourth week we were all at Manicaland gospel meeting.
Our average church attendance for the month of April 2025 averaged 27 and our contribution averaged $15.00 after converting it from Zimbabwe dollars to USD.

PRAYER REQUESTS.

  • Pray for our mission work as well as my family.
  • Pray for our struggling nation.
  • We always pray for you all and thank you for your unwavering financial support. Thanks also for your love and care. Without you our mission work would be very difficult.
  • Pray also for a special need concerning transport in our mission work. At times we are limited to reach far places due to distance.

Once again thank you.
May the Lord bless you all.

Your brother in the Lord.
