Ron Writes: Meet the Members

Meet Scott & Rhonda Boatner

The Boatner’s are among some of our most active members. Scott has been teaching adult classes and Rhonda has been very involved with the teens. In addition, Scott helps organize work parties at Camp Yamhill and assists with the upkeep of our building.

Both are currently back in college. Scott is trying to change directions going from being a computer tech to working with helping people through counseling. He currently attends Clackamas Community College and Rhonda is attending Warner Pacific College to improve her skills in accounting.

They have one son, Jordan, who is very involved with the teen program and helps operate our PA system on Sundays.

Scott is the youngest of three. He has an older brother and sister. Many know his parents who attend at the Molalla church.

Rhonda has lived all over the U.S. and lived for 1.5 years in Turkey. She has 6 siblings. She has overcome some very difficult times in her life and has an amazing story to tell of how God brought her through.

They met at the church in North Bend, Oregon.

Scott is one of our 4-wheeling group who sees a Jeep as more than just transportation.

Rhonda enjoys cross-stitch and reading.

They are not hard to find and they’re both pretty easy to get to know. The best way to get to know Rhonda is to just have a baby – she usually has one in her arms. If having a baby is not practical for you, no problem, they’re both very approachable.
